The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) currently offers undergraduate degree program for Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering (BSCSE) – 150 credit hours (Regular).
Note: If any diploma students get admission into the above program he/she may get an exemption upto 13 credit hours.
Within the due date and before the commencement of each term, a student has to fill up a course registration form in consultation with his/her advisor. The date, time and venue of registration are announced in advance by the Registrar's Office. It is absolutely essential that all the students be present for registration at the specified time. Late registration is, however, permitted during the first week on payment of a late registration fee.
CREDIT HOUR LIMIT
Minimum 9 Credit Hours
Maximum 18 Credit Hours
Special cases may be considered upon the approval of HoD
Course Add is allowed only within the first week of a term.
Dropping a course is permitted within the first two weeks of a term.
A student can repeat a course after receiving F grade in a previous semester.
The grade earned on the repeated course repeated will replace the "F" in computing CGPA.
Course retake is also possible if obtained grade is below "C+.
The previous grade will also be shown in the transcript.
To obtain the degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (abbreviated as B. Sc. Engg. in CSE) a student
Must complete at least 150.00 Credit Hours
Must pass all the required courses
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.20.
